Description
Whether you have a crew of 5 or 5,000 on your vessel, the ORCA system has the capability to protect them all. After the ORCA transmitter is fully submersed for 3-5 seconds, it begins transmitting a radio signal bringing to life the bridge-mounted ORCA receiver and announcing by audible alarm that a survivor is in the water and in need of recovery.
Because of our “Smart-Signal” technology, the receiver will display the name of the individual who has fallen from the ship and the ship from which they fell. Even if the MOB is not from your ship, if you are in range of the signal, your ORCA receiver will alert you by a unique tone that someone has fallen off a ship in your operating range.
